The Moon Guide
Everything you need to be a Kawaii Moon Polish expert.
- Glitter Bombs - These types of polishes are known for the insane amount of shaped glitters and yummy sparkles. For best results it is recommended that you start with a base coat for the glitter to adhere evenly.
- Settling may occur! - Heavier glitters tend to sink to the bottom but that can be quickly resolved by rolling your bottle or leaving it upside down for about 2-5 minutes prior to usage. If you're in a hurry do the tootsie roll...to the left, to the right, now side to side. Shake, shake shake!
- Fishing for some glitter! - If you're unable to 'catch' some glitter with your brush, swirl your brush around instead of just dipping. This helps the glitter adhere to the brush. If you left the bottle upside down for a couple of minutes you shouldn't have an issue. If you're more into glitter placement my tip for you is to use toothpicks! Scrape the sides of the neck of the bottle, this really helps 'catch' some of the bigger glitters.
- Apply like a super kawaii pro! - Applying thin coats is your best bet! Make sure to wait for your nail polish to thoroughly dry before applying your second coat. Avoiding this will help in preventing bubbles and uneven texture. This applies to glitter bombs, jelly, crelly, and creme polishes.
- Most important of all! - Topcoat isn't optional in my opinion. To make your manicure look professional and flawless a topcoat is preferred. Use your favorite and seal all the kawaii realness.
